An initiative to promote sharing and regeneration in Asia,
starting from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.


This is a series of co-creation between change-makers with offline events (gift circle, mini fest, pop-ups) and online resources (skillshare) to amplify sharing within our community With a Burning Question: How ?

Our mission is to bring change-makers together in co-creating shared resources and regenerative hubs within the community. You are invited to co-create a sharing community in your neighbourhood, welcome to find out more below.


Share & Regenerate Mini Fest

In partnership with SOHOland, we are excited to host the Sha.Re Mini Festival on 29 June 2019. Sha.Re stands for “share” and “regenerate”. It is a 1-day “by-invitation only” event, tailored especially for change-makers (i.e. like-minders who are keen to make a difference, entrepreneurs and social innovators, non-profit and business leaders, healers, grassroot activists and/or policy makers).

This Mini Festival aims to bring change-makers together to:
1. Connect and learn about each other’s interests, experiences and/or skills
2. Enable collaborations and exchange resources
3. Experience an interconnected, sharing and collaborative community

10pm - 10pm @PrivatePlaceKL
Entrance Ticket: RM30 per person

Funds will go towards expenses including costs of space usage and rental of equipment/chairs/tables as well as Reconnect & Recharge’s pro bono events.

    1. Panel discussion on ‘Creating a Sharing, Circular, Decentralised Economy’
    2. Skillshare sessions with guest speakers (Social + Environmental initiatives)
    3. Gift Circles where people get together to help one another - by sharing about our needs and offering our services - without expectation of anything in return (for personal / business / community purposes)
    4. Women’s Red Tent + Men’s Campfire Circle
    5. Arts Exhibition + Community Message Boards
    6. Live Performances
    7. Free + Swap Marketplace

    **You are encouraged to drop a note of appreciation / referral / offer skills, services or time / cash donation to the event contributors / guest speakers on that day


    Calling For:

    1. Volunteers (e.g. registration / ushers / photographer / videographer) – Volunteers will have free access to the event throughout the day.
    2. Free Traders / Pre-Loved Gifts – Bring your pre-loved items or any products to swap and/or giveaway

    3. Food Caterers or Providers – If you are interested to sponsor / subsidise / provide lunch and/or dinner for the event, please do contact us!

    4. Media or Sponsorship Partners (T-shirt / Goodies etc)

    5. Musicians / Entertainers – We would like to feature 5-10 minute performances by local talent during the Skillshare sessions, before or after the sharing by our guest speakers

    Setting 'Pop-Up Share & Regen Hub' in your community centers, libraries, cafes, co-working spaces, makerspace, universities, studios and impact centres.

    With 3 Magic Circle: (1) Gift Circle Board- Your Needs & Your Offers; (2) Share Circle- Swap corner, Free Corner; (3) Green Circle- Edible Garden, zero waste tools, waste mmgt.
    + Optional: Gift circle, Skillshare, Cards conversations & games, Talks & Panel discussions

    KL- Gift Circle on the 14th & 22nd May 2019;
    Mini Fest on the 29th June 2019;
    Pop-ups from July to September 2019.

    WHERE?
    Community centers, shared space, libraries, cafes, co-working spaces, makerspace, universities, studios and impact centres.

    Starting from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Singapore. Targeting Southeast Asia to Asia region.

    STARTED BY WHO?
    Vic Qi is a Social Artist of Reconnect & Recharge, a social movement focusing on self connection and human connection.

    She is inspired by Sharable.net and ouishare.net of sharing economy plus benefits of circular economy (regenerate).
